Ahem...

So it turns out that trying to write a novel, a new book of poems, learn two new languages, and regularly update two blogs is a bit too much for me. And this blog is getting the shaft as a result. If you'd like, for the next six months or so anyway, feel free to head on over here and have at it. Otherwise, I'll see you when I come back to the States sometime in May or June...

Hey There--I just did something stupid, and then did 4 other stupid things 1) posted on the Kyrg blog 2) inadvertently shared my blog address with your family and, by doing so, a link to this blog 3) pulled my post 4) thought that the address appeared to stay, so deleted the shimmy from my blog roll. I will, however add it again, now that I see that the link to my blog has been deleted from the commments, as well.

paranoid? me?

ps. It's weird that no one comes or goes at the Japanese embassy

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Anyone I wouldn't want reading this blog--my grandmother, say--wouldn't have the web savvy necessary to follow the link to your profile on the comment page, follow the link there to your blog, then, somehow, through a series of guesses and trial-and-error, follow the link to this page and deduce that it was me writing it. She has trouble playing solitaire on the computer. And anyone else, well, it's not too private anyway, is it? What being on the internet and all. So, whatever. I'm not the stickler for anonymity y'all are. No shame in my game. Well, that's not true, I've got tons of shame. Shame and guilt. "i've got enough guilt to start my own religion..." I've always loved that song. But I think I'm off topic maybe...

What was your comment? I wanna read your comment!

I wish I could play with your puppy. (That sounds filthy taken out of context. Christ!)

My comment was: thank you for linking to that squirrel story--I think, in some small way, it's shifted my world view.

umm... the puppy. my puppy. she's trying out a new home right now. I'm kind of a mess about it...but i bet it's for the best...and if it's not, I'll know that before i move...then she'll go with me. She is the happiest puppy ever. I've laughed more in the three weeks I've had her, than I have in a long time.
